Fast Bass Playing
« on: April 06, 2009, 12:33:47 PM »
I've never really disliked fast bass playing....until yesterday. :)

Yesterday, we were play and P&W song and the bassist (who didn't come to practice) was all over the place on the really show song, which caused the choir to get COMPLETELY off.
:)

Sounds like he needs to understand pocket playing.
Keep God first and he'll do the rest!!!

i dont think it has nothin to do with playing fast. i could play slow as molasses and still be all over the place and throw everyone off. i think what he was doing was off, and i think that has a lot more to do with not coming to practice and his mental state (not saying he crazy, but meaning "where is his/her head at?")
For my God... let "Golden Axe" prevail.
