You all might remember this pic along with a testimony I told about my fret job:

Well, I replaced the neck - the same one I did the decal on:

Well, the mistake I made is that I didn't measure the distance from the nut to the 12th fret. This neck is slightly shorter than the 1st. I found out by trying to tune it and it wouldn't tune - it plays flat. So I can either get a longer bridge or just move the existing bridge up about 1/2" (and expose the holes :().

Here's the other problem I had because I didn't measure:
There's a slight gap in the neck pocket. I'm not sure what I can do there.

The strings sound a little "twangy" but when you plug it up, it doesn't sound too bad. If anything, it's something somebody can practice on or something the kids could bang on.
