OK fam, let just agree that Kobe and Lebron are both great basketball players. But, Kobe is better  ;D

It was a hard decision but I'll go with Kobe

You have to be kidding me?!!! :o That might just work! But then again, Shaq clogs the lane. Bron needs his space in the lane in order to be at his best when he attacks the middle. :-\ Plus, the Cavs are in more need of a bigger backcourt  :-\. For Shaq to be so great, why he not have a home  ?/?? He goes from team to team. He's a hired gun...

I think Shaq's time of 'greatness' has passed so all he has left is 'hired gun'.  :-\

Shaq moves around because of his contract, most teams can't hold it and he has only been on 4 teams orlano, Lakers, maimi, suns that's it. You know what happen in LA and maimi... Cavs could use he but there system doesn't work well with shaq...I really think he should go back to LA to finish and get another ring. Shaq backing up bynum, wow crazy lineup and he is much more humble now too it would be interesting to see...

Congratulations to the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant for finally winning the championship without Shaq and cutting off that old conversation!!

I was suprised that Lakers closed it out in 5. I had predicted 7!

BTW did anyone pay attention to the fact that Orlando could have been up 3 to 1 if Courtney Lee made that last shot in Game 2 and if Howard made those free throws at end of game 4?....wow!

Congraulations to my 2009 NBA Champions pick fro mthe beginning....LA Lakers!!!!

That he did.  Outstanding series.  Kobe Bryant is the hardest player to guard since Michael Jordan.

It goes to show that the Lakers were just mentally tougher than the Magic.

Who knew that the NBA Finals were Howard's kryptonite?

At least he showed up to the final press conference.  ::)

Yes, you DID say that everyone has flaws...

I still think Lebron is the best player in the league, but Kobe willing the Lakers to a championship this year definitely bolsters your argument that he's the better player.

The Lakers are a young team so they'll be around for a while.

Wouldn't it be something to see Lebron & Shaq vs. the Lakers next year?

!!!

...yeah, the Magic lost the series.  Congrats. to the L.A. Lakers and Kobe.  Well deserved.  He's a hard worker.  I miss Michael J. but enjoy Kobe's Tribute to Mike in the way he plays "the game of basketball". lol

...I mean, c'mon, Kobe even celebrated the win the exact same way as Mike did after "The Shot" and after the Bulls 2nd. LOL  Like Mike...I want to be like Mike...LOL

...congrats. L.A.

the suns arent giving up shaq, he was there best player hahaha for the whole year... that is sad too... but if the cavs did they would have to give up a few players because shaq's contract isnt small... I really want to know what A.I is going to do, will he go to the bobcats or miami?? free agents are going to be running over time this year cause there are a lot of good players free this year that can help a team out... I will have to wait until next year to see what all trades happen and what team get who to give my opinion on who is winning next year's ring... but lakers will be in the mix so will boston with KG coming back...
