First off, I'm not going to give you the chords, bass, left hand, melody etc. :)
I want you to tell me:
1. What key he's in?
2. What scale melody line is playing?
3. What key are his three part harmony progession chords right hand are in?
4. What keys the left hand chords are in?
5. What bass notes does he revolve around?

If you can tell me all of this then you can learn this song without my help.
If you can't then take my FREE gospel music course at www.Samsmuzikco.com where I teach all the things I've asked for.

I love music, any kind of music.

Soooooo strict, I like it..... :D. Anyway to be serious for a moment, being able to identify these things enables you to become the musician you want to be. It may seem like a lot a first but once you do this regularly you'll find picking up songs easier and easier and will eventually find yourself in the great position to pick up songs faster.

Just two pence worth.

Is there a reason why you always post your request 3 times in 3 different rooms?

About # 5. - Hint:  Most songs have 3 or 4 main (primary) chords outlined by the bass notes, based on the 1st, 4th and 5th notes of the key it is in. This has a few more, but most are in the Bb scale.

When I transcribe a song, I usually start with the Key and the Bass line - that gives me the chord structure, and that is enough for most players to get along on...

I used a smiley face :)

Any good teacher wants to know if the student has done his/her homework before giving the answer to any question.
If I just "give the chords, bass, patterns etc" to the song what have you learned?
I love music, any kind of music.

To catch John's style (I known him all his playing days) you have have to from learn where he starts his music.
His opening chord is an Eb maj7 3rd inversion = D Eb G Bb with an F bass.
Followed by a melodic line of Bb, C, D (part of the Bb scale)
Left hand chord Eb maj 7 root + Eb G Bb D
The run (roll the C^Db,D) - C^Db,D,Bb,G,D,D,C,Bb,G,Bb
Ending chord left hand Dmin 7 = D F A C
Bass note is Bb

Yes, it's impossible to write another musicians style so you have to take it note by note, chord by chord and add the bass.

I love music, any kind of music.
