Weekend Shed...Memorial Weekend....

I will keep it short and sweet....First, thank God for seeing us through another week. I pray that those of you who may be traveling during this holiday weekend to see "mamma-n-dem"  will have traveling Grace and be safe on the road or in the air. For those shedding this weekend I pray that the anointing of God's Spirit will be upon you and all the musicians and singers and that everything you play will be pleasing to the sound of the Lord. I have a break this weekend so I will be able to sit back and fully enjoy the service and other musicians.

God's Word: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up". James 4:10

Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe memorial weekend. I had some sad news delivered to me yesterday. A guy who played lead for my group at our last show at the House of Blues passed away yesterday. He had his master degree in music from Univ. of Miami and was teaching at Univ. of North Texas and Texas Women's University. He was in his early 50's and had just moved his mom and dad in with him and his family to take care of them. Please keep the Leavel family in your prayers. He had a massive heart attack and this was not expected.
