Potential Trade
« on: May 21, 2009, 07:50:50 AM »
Is anyone willing to trade a 2x10 cab or combo amp for a MIM active 4 string? I need something small to take on small gigs instead of my 4x10 rig. I have to play this weekend on the Spirit of Norfolk and this would be the perfect opportunity to have something small. Let me know.

what kind of preamp does the MIM have in it?
I might be intersted in taking that from you if you're willing to part with it.

Everything is stock, so whatever Fender put in there, is still there. I would keep the bass, but I can't get used to the small neck, plus I want and need something small in the amp arena.

BTW, is either a 2006 or 2007 model because it has the 60th anniversary sticker on the back. Its not the actually model because those were only the MIA versions, but I think everything made in those years got a small sticker on the back of the headstock.

I might be interested in that sort of a swap.  I have 2 SWR Goliath Jr. cabs.  I could be tempted to part with one of them.

Post pics of the bass, please.

I'll post pics as soon as I get home with my "new" Nikon d40. I'm loving that camera.

Cosign. My MIM Passive Jazz V is a 2006-2007 model and it has the sticker (not to highjack dd's thread, but said bass could be on the market if I pull the trigger on a Schecter Studio 5 this weekend  :))
