Beginning Songs for Church Praise and Worship Service???

Hi everybody, I'm wes from houston. God just recently put it on my heart to learn the keyboard, so I've been at church faithfully every day trying to learn by myself. I'm learning the chords and scales. I've taught myself two songs in two days, Hold Me Now by Kirk Franklin and a song my mom made from Psalms 63. I was hoping somebody could recommend a few basic praise and worship songs for me to play at church.

I would like to encourage you to read as much as you cn from te theory sections on this website.
This will help you understand better what you are doing.
It will also help you to identify, without even thinking, the most commonly used chord progressions in not only gospel music, but across all spectra.

Sites to check out.  Higherpraise.com  has tons of lyrics and chords and Free.  that is a good place to start.
I subscribe to Rhapsody, so I can listen and not have to buy CD's all the time.  If I do buy I got to Amazon.com and search for discounted CD.  All I want is to hear them.  Hope this helps as well.  Musicmama58
