Nice
I can play in the key of D but not like that. It's usually basic congregational & quartet music.
I was like that and then I just started to play it more in that key within the last couple of years. I like F a lot so D kinda made it easier to play in.
Your left hand has a MONSTER reach!
Otherwise that is awesome. I like D, its easy enough to play in.
I been practicing my hand to reach at least the octave 3rd of every key. D, B, E, A, Bb, and Db are really a reach but i can do it easily now.
The song you are playing is it If I had not been for the Lord on my side? I have that song on my songs to learn list.
Nice! I hope to play like that one day.
Yes it was! Just hit me when I recorded the video. I was just going to play some chords. LOL!
Sweet!
We do play alike!

Although, D is a fairly easy key easier for me now, G is my weakest.
Six years ago, I had to hit that T button. It's all good now.
*What I meant to say*
It's very strange we play the same way even when you pick up a lot of stuff from YellowJackets and I just now listening to them!
Great Clip!
D is my Pastor's (main keyboardist) "go to" key, so I'm pretty decent in it.
Yep, same here. Most of the pastors here sneak into that key too. So it just because easy to play in.
Real Good Stuff "ddw4e"....You make me want to practice, more clips please....
.
PianoWiz...
LOL!! I am going to do some more. I think it's a good thing to do especially when you working on a new song and you can always go back and look at how you approach it. Most cases i don't remember how I do some stuff unless I record myself.
Dude, ur modulation from D major to D minor was so doggone smooth. I had to rewind it to find where it happened, but I found it around the 2:50-3:00 mark. I was hoping u would try to go to Ab, but this is still some spectactular playing.
LGM, this is how u modulate from major to minor undercover like. Great job man!!!
Actually, I meant to but really I take that D (1) and turn it into a b5 in Ab and go from there. I mean, you already know that!

!
WOW! thats whats up man....you gotta teach me that man...
Man whatever! You know that stuff. Like John Peters would say "that went through me like water!"
I definitely need mo' prack-tice in dis key
Great job friend!!!
Thanks so much! If you can play F very well, D isn't a problem for you. You just have to get used to the fingering, that's all.
DD this is an awesome video ...you played so good no one would ever think that D is a key you ever stumbled in...i hope to play that smooth one day....
Thanks! It's all in practice! It's weird cause depending on what sound I use it makes it sound much better and you begin to fell it more. If anyone say that sounds don't make a difference, yea, it really does.
