Lawd, I'm seeing visions of last years awards up in here! WE REBUKE, SATAN!!!!!

Aw, thanks sjon. Boy, I'm racking them up this year, lol! I gotta say thank you to everyone who nominated or awarded me an LGEmmy (lol!) this year. I've really enjoyed all of the deep discussions, debates, jokes... everything. I love my job as a mod, and I know that wouldn't be the case if we didn't have some of the best savedest people as members, lol. I share this with my fellow mods, because we're a team, and none of us could do it alone, it is a 24-hour job-- helps to be addicted, lol, and it's cool to have a job that requires you to feed your addiction
.
Woman of the year, I'll gladly share this one with LaRue, because I feel she is a very deserving co-winner. Like Teej said, when certain people are missing it feels like there's a lag in the action, and Rue is certainly one of those. You and many others here have that "iron sharpening iron" effect on me. I am challenged and improved by our exchanges here. I gotta thank MamaT as well because I have learned so much from her wisdom, and it has helped me to hopefully uplift the standard of Godly DIVAS in her absence
The above ties right into Teej's "belly full of wisdom" award, which I think I also share with many of my fellow LGMers-- those that love to seek after God above religion, tradition, and the average pew member, lol. We are definitely blessed to be surrounded by some bible studying, God fearingladies and gentlemen, who speak out of sincerity and divine wisdom. I am humbled to be named in that group, since I know me and live with me, and realize that I have a long way to go. But thank God for putting wise examples in my life from the womb, it's made all the difference.
Lastly, thanks to my little bro Teej and Britt who are the most encouraging, positive, sincere young people I've had the pleasure of knowing in a long time. It does my heart good to know that the future generation is not entirely a lost cause as other prominent examples would lead me to believe. I'm still relatively young and have also chosen the road less travelled, it's good to see someone behind me turn off the beaten path and really go after God.
Yeah, so I really didn't think I had time to write this much, started off just a sentence or so of acknowledgement, but... there it is, LOL!
This was so touching

. I'll be back, yall...I need to regather myself.
