I think her sentence should be to make her live in the hood for 15 years next to some super ghetto folks and give them a key to her spot.

I so want to play that groove in church (good groove for synths) , but I know for sure, my people (rubbing the back of my hand) would sing it.

I've seen that happen at a church I visited...I looked over at this elderly lady and said, "Mother Bea? How do YOU know that song?"

Thank you guys.  I finally figured out what they are saying....MOON SHINE!

Ever since my mom and dad used to slow dance to that (....puke break......) I could never figure out that line!

Ok, I had to go back and look up the lyrics to this song. I could only remember the parts mentioned in the title.

It makes some comparisons with the devil that I didn't remember... :o.

But I'm gonna....."blame it on the boogieeaaaa" ;D

I had forgotten the lyrics. I hadn't heard it in so long. I looked them up and low and behold, lol. But I was young when my sister use to have house parties and they played the black off that record, lol. (I'm a late child. I'm the youngest of 60, 50, and 40 year old sibblings. Yeah, I was spoiled rotten growing up, lol)
