ok thanks anything you can do is appreciated

Virtuenow:
Thanks T Block.  I am trying to understand .  In each pattern you start w/the "Main part of song" then you have 3 blocks of chords, the vamp and turnaround last.  Is the "Main part of song" a summary of the song? what do you mean by main part of the song?

--- End quote ---

I mean the part of the song that you open up with. Example, for the song "Victory Is Mine", the main part would be singing:

Victory is mine, Victory is mine, Victory today is mine, etc.

For the song "Glory Glory Hallelujah", the main part of the song is"

Glory Glory Hallelujah, since I laid my burdens down, etc.

The turnaround gets u back to the main part, and the vamp is when they repeat stuff like "I laid my burdens down" or "It's mine".

Make sense now?

Virtuenow:
Yes, thanks, I needed that clarification for all the parts.  I will work my way back over to this post after a little more foundation!

Thank for all the help, are there any sound files to help learn the timing.
