WILLIE NELSON....NO YOU DIDN'T!!!!! (cracking up)

In my "Michael Memory Moment" today at work, I listened to "We Are the World".

In the 1st verse, Willie Nelson is singing.  His line is "God has shown us...BY TURNING STONES TO BREAD....not it's time for us to lend a helping hand".

But...turning stones to bread was one of the temptations Jesus rebuked in the wilderness, right?

When you have cracked the Book open for yourself, your perspective on a LOT of things can really change.  LOL!!!!!

It's like the Bible says: "God helps those who help themselves"....I'll have to look up the chapter and verse, but I'm sure it's in there.......somewhwere.  ;)

For the record, Willie didn't write it, he only sang it.  :-\

That said, I can't believe I never caught that.  As I said in another thread this week, I had that song on repeat the other day, and just listened to it all day.  I even posted the video here!  I just never paid it any mind.  I guess I was too preoccupied by the beauty of all those artists from different genres united for one cause.  :-\

GOOD CATCH!??????????  NO WAY!  I have heard that song more times than I care to for what....almost twenty years?  And I JUST caught it?  That was lame for "Hector the Corrector".  Very lame.

And it IS true....on the song "Scream", there is one part where Janet forgoes the chance to say "stop pressurin' me" and actually says "stop f'ing with me".

I had to listen again last night where I could concentrate.

Surely someone at the FCC caught that before it hit mainstream radio.  Right?  LOL!!!!!!!!!!
