Church Bass Clips

I recorded some of last sunday night's service. We had some guests in church and I brought my Rondo Music Douglas SB26 bass for one of the guys to play. I think this dude is like 15. Thought it would be nice to check out. Our normal musicians are playing and he is on my bass. Incase anyone is wondering Im on the organ.

Here is another clip during the anointing line. I know there is alot going on in this clip. :D I like some of the runs he does near the end.

Here's another clip from this morning. This is a different bass player. Yes there is alot going on here too lol. :D Alot of over playing. Usually I'm drained after Sunday morning services.

I like this clip much more than the first one. I didn't find that it had a lot of overplaying. Just a few tasty runs but he was tight and in the pocket!

I was talking as a whole the drummer was doing alot at points.  :)

Good clip!  I especially enjoyed the transition between pieces, very smooth and flowing from one piece to the other.  You guys have some very anointed worship services going on over there!

I liked the first two better, because I like the busy jazz style better. The last one makes me feel like I'm sitting in a Baptist church! j/k It sounds traditional.

Your piano player sounds off with that bass player though. The first one was a good match for the piano player. You could hear them playing off of each other.

yeah, for that last one the drummer was doing waaaay too much. i've listened to drum solos with less drumming. lol. i actually have to keep stopping it because its distracting.
