Jonathan Butler Song
« on: June 27, 2009, 08:59:25 PM »
Has anyone ever heard a song by Jonathan Butler that starts out, "Down at Your feet, oh Lord, is the most high place...."   I am trying to find what CD it is on and can't find it anywhere?  Thanks in advance for any help...  Be Blessed.

Hi the song is originally done in the key of Bmaj. He sings quite high so we just do it in Amaj. Anyway here are the chords!

Verse
Amaj C#m Dmaj Emaj
Amaj C#m Dmin Emin Amaj Dmin Emin Amaj

Chorus
Dmaj Esus-Emaj G#dim/F F#m Bmin Emaj Amaj (Repeat)

If you are unclear about anything just gimme a shout!  :)

OK didn't have time last night as promised but here you go!

You can find the song on the CD "The Worship Project" or You can download the entire album. But I suggest you buy the album from a store.

Scored by Marv
Original Key Bmaj (Quite difficult to sing in that key so we do it in Amaj)

LH/RH
A  / ABC#E   Down at Your
C# / AC#E    feet, Oh
D  / ADEF#   Lord Is the
E  / BEF#Ab  most high
A  / ABC#E   place In Your
C# / AC#E    presence,Lord I
D  / ADF     seek
E  / BEG     Your
A  / ABC#E   face
D  / ADF     seek
E  / BEG     Your
A  / ABC#E   face

Chorus
A  / ABC#E   There is
D  / ADEF#   no higher
E  / BEF#A   cal-     (quick movement)
E  / BEF#Ab  -ling     (quick movement)
F  / BDFAb   no greater
F# / ABC#E   honor Than to
B  / AC#DF#  bow and
E  / BEF#Ab  kneel before
A  / ABC#E   Your throne

(The Second Part Is The Same So Just Repeat the chorus and go back to the verse)

Lyrics

Down at Your feet, Oh Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence, Lord
I seek Your face, I seek your face

Chorus
There is no higher calling no greater honor
Than to bow and kneel before Your throne
I'm amazed at Your glory, embraced by Your mercy
Oh Lord, I live to worship You

Down at Your feet, Oh Lord
Is the most high place
In Your presence, Lord
We seek Your face, we seek your face

Still unclear?? ?/? ;D

The song is called, 'No Higher Calling'.
Despite our communication technology, no invention is as effective as the sound of the human voice.

These chords is based on the original song. That version has about three or four extra chords (just listened for a minute) I might be able to work out those changes but i have very limited time!
