Not gonna watch.
I confess to buying "Off the Wall" on album and "Thriller" on cassette and even learned the guitar parts to "Beat It" back-in-the-day, but I left the MJ worship camp many moons ago.

I'm sure that's not what you meant, but your comment vaguely implies that those who plan to watch are a part of the "MJ worship camp."

Perhaps some folks are just fans and not worshippers, or just want to watch the historic tribute to his life.  :-\

Nah, it's the seemingly unending coverage of his death that I'm not going to be a part of, just like I wouldn't be of any pop idol. It's not how I'm wired.
Besides, if I want to hear Stevie Wonder song, I'll put on my Original Musiquarium discs...and that's not a bad idea  ;)

Gotcha.  Thanks for clearing that up. I bored with the news coverage of his death, but definitely not yet tired of the news coverage of his life and legacy.  But, I understand what you mean.

I did my BEST not to watch any of the various 'ode to MJ' television marathons running the weekend of his death, either. It's been too much, for me.
