IMO, that's not the message being promoted b/c a lot of people die unexpectedly w/o a deathbed. On the same note, we often turn funerals into a service for the dead when it is actually meant and intended to celebrate the life lived but encourage and minister to those who are left here on earth.
MJ knows who his God was and the relationship between him and God. So why should the world even be discussing his personal relationship and whether him being JW meant he understood where he was going?
The main point is so many people has so much to say about what someone did while they were living and what they believe and don't believe. No one is in anyone's mind and cannot acct for their personal actions. A lot of people belong to a denomination or religious group but don't believe in anything it stands for.
I don't believe in nothing the Baptist do, but that's what denomination i am in. However as long as you know God for yourself, who cares what others think...the rest is secondary info... You can be the biggest drunk and still die and go to heaven because of your love for God through simple repentance. It's not about how a person publicly broadcast their relationship with God b/c that is just 'lip-service'. Do what you do sincerely and make it personal, as long as God knows-he is the only one that matters.
I am positive many 'public-Christians' have died and gone str8 to hell...
