Inside The Sabain Factory

Thought you guys might be interested in this, found it on one of my other forums

we stopped by the Sabian factory where they make the cymbals I use.

Castings:



Cymbal blanks:



Cooking the cymbals before pressing bells into them.



Hand Hammering the cymbals.



Lathing the cymbals.



Stamping the cymbals.



The Vault.  Kid in a candy store here.  Simply amazing.

Pictures don't do it justice. The personal experience is very intense! If you get an opportunity to go, by all means, do it!

I gotta go. I'll go to any cymbal company that will give me a tour to be honest. ;D
