I just got the opportunity to try the dish this morning. It gets an "A", and my children loved it. I'll be making this again. Thanks ReddGirl....

I didn't do something right.  Not sure.  LOL!

I'll try again Saturday.

What happened Booh! Was it solid? I might suggest adding more pancake mix or allowing more cooking time. It should be light brown on top and fork should come out clean.

I might not wait for "breffus" to try this... I barely eat breakfast as it is, so I just don't see myself actually cooking in the morning.

I tried it today. Although I'd say casserole is not wrong, it's seems more like my idea of souffle. I noticed because of the 6 eggs. At first I was going to cut it down to 3 or 4 but then I hesitated and am glad I did. It rose and puffed up like a souffle, or maybe a quiche, is more the word.

I had ham and green onion so I used them instead of sausage, but I want to do another with sausage.

Fun recipe and tasty.

Glad you liked it. It should puff up and be solid not mushy.

Yep. Although, with my summer schedule, I could give it a try when I get off of work or.....on....Friday.

Hmm...........a plan is forming.  8)

I agree, it does sound similar to one of my quiche recipes.

I'm going to try it either Friday or Sunday morning.

Meant to ask, does it reheat well?  Like, can you make it Friday and microwave it Saturday morning?

Got mine in the oven now. I substituted the sausage for bacon. I'm a bacon lover, and just didn't want that sausage to over power the taste. I'll let you know when it is done. Me and Cat is going to dig in for lunch.  ;)

In what type of dish did you put it? Meaning, did you use non-stick spray in your pan or dish or did you line it with foil?

I'm thinking about making it tomorrow.  ;) :)

:-\ ?/? ?/?  Line it with foil??  Dude, stick to the warm bread that browns with dry heat!  :-\

 :D :D :D :D :D

SisT, can you put a little in the microwave and let me know how that works out?  The only way I'll be able to do it is if I can make it Friday evening for Saturday breakfast, but I won't bother if it won't reheat well.  I can just save it for a holiday or something.

Don't line your bakeware with foil for easy clean-up if you wanna. I like to work smarter, not harder whenever possible. 8)

Now, if I have NO choice but to wash the dish, then so be it.  ;) 8)

I put my in a square glass dish. It came out very clean. yes I had to wash the dish lol, but there wasn't a lot of scrubbing. It wasn't runny at all.

I think I might substitute the sweet sausage for bacon or ham or maybe even chicken breast next time. It's a pretty dish too. If I DO do sausage again, it will be italian sausage :)

Thanks again Redd

Oh and Rue, I put mine in the microwave and it was just as good
