I make no apologies for not 'growin' up gospel'...

No need for YOU to apologize, SJon, but I do, however feel the need to apologize to YOU. I'm so sorry you were deprived!  ;) 8) :D

BTW I agree any Walter Hawkins song is an automatic classic!

What about:

"Wondrous Grace...that broooooought meeeeeeeeee...."  :D :D

And while we're on the subject of the L.A. Mass Choir, how about:

"Heee ever, heee ever, heee EVER, heee EVER, heee ever loves and cares for his owwwwwnnnn...for his own!"  ;D ;D

And one of my personal favorites:

"Dear Jesus I love you...you're a friend of mine.."

*Slain*

And I know yall don't know nothing bout this:

Anyone remember "He'll Be There" by the Hawkins family? I guarantee that song can still rock a church to this very day!

Speaking of oldies, does anyone happen to have 'In the beauty of holiness' by the Ohio Mass Choir from '96? I need it for this Sunday, if possible.

Or a clip of someone doing the song. Can't seem to locate one on YT.

I agree completely on the Walter Hawkins tip!!! And Changed ministers to me as much today as it did when she first did it. That song wears. Me. Out.

And Jonathan, the only "guidelines" for the thread is don't nobody wanna hear no 60's and 70's stuff... and use text descriptions when you post clips. :D :D :D :D

I'm hoping to make the finals with this one... (might be before some of y'all's time... But, it's been re-recorded in the 80's and again in 2007, so it should qualify). LOL

"Satisfied" by the Institutional Radio Choir

And this one is for you, MM04

"You Must Be Born Again" by Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir... from his second album.

And this one is for me... this is my all-time, hands down, favoritest, favoritest, bestest, most favoritest gospel song ever... of all time:

And if you're feeling like I'm feeling today, you might need a little of this to minister to your soul... Thomas Whitfield with "Hallelujah, Anyhow"

I believe that may be the best gospel song ever made. I literally can't get enough of that song.
