Funny stuff.  Superman?  Super Mario?  Jeremy is crazy!  We'll put standard Nordstrand J pickups in if people want them, but the Fatstacks/Big Singles/Big Splits/Dual Coils sound better to our ears so we recommend them.

The stank nasty just continues to CRUSH!!!!!

I might have a live recording lined up for the spring, so it might make it's first true recording debut then.

Superman song was because the bass is unbeatable!!!!

The mario bro song was because the bass make me I feel like  Mario when he jumps on the turtles and kicks them out of the way.

The more I listen to the stank nasty, the more I want to order me one exactly like yours but have my top with an orange burst similar to my schecter. It sounds so sweet.

I REALLY want another one with a pink burst top.

Hopefully i'll be able to gather the cash to put an order down in the fall for it.

I'm so struggling over here. That pink would be nice, I'd definitely play that.

Whens the last time you saw someone with a green burst or pinkburst bass on the gospel scene?  Not to mention you get the cable that matches colors...WHEW!!!

I plug in and people are like "o wow....a green bass"...lol

I would rock a pink bass any day. Especially with my pink neckties. Color has nothing to do with the tone. ;D

now u just named 4 different pickups, so how would u even know which ones? i was gonna get a set of Nordstrands to drop in a bass, but i couldnt even decide, so i said forget it. i'd probably need a fairly descriptive comparison.

and jeremy is crazy. who would think to hum the soundtrack to an instrument review? wouldnt you just play it? lol.

Fatstacks are the biz.  If you don't mind 60 cycle hum then go for Big Singles.  The series wound DC's (like Jeremy's bass) have a tighter and more pronounced midrange.  I dig the Fatstacks.  Carey rocks house on everything, them fatty's is NICE.

so i guess those would be the choice (now i have to get over the exposed pole look).

and im sure nordstrand makes quite sensitive pickups, so you should probably call them "overweight" stacks or something. calling them fat is just so mean! lol.
