Oh yes, I will be auditioning sanctified readers this afternoon. Requirements: You must be pronounce your O's as AW (Ex: Gawd, instead of God), you must add a T at the end of every word (ex: Gawt), and you must be able to pronounce Israel as Is-RIE-ell. Please come prepared.  ;D

I DEFINITELY have the "iss-RYE-ell" part down!!! LOL!  And I always put a "t" on the end of Lord (i.e. the Lawdt), and I'm willing to practice putting it on the end of God as well!

I SO have this in the bag!!!! I'm claiming this job!!!  :D

By the way everybody, tonight is our first annual FAMILY AND FRIENDS night!

That means everyone is expected to bring at least one family member and at least one friend! We want to fill up the balcony and the overflow room!

And next week will be our PACK-A-PEW night!! Each member will be responsible for packing out their pew!!

Tonight's study will be facilitated by LGM's coolest dude (at least in his mind) and everyone's favorite little brother: SirTJ.

TJ is a college student at Auburn University, and musician for a couple of churches in Alabama. He's an anointed keyboardist and drummer (for those who didn't know that), and a skilled writer!  He has a dry, but hilarious, sense of humor and is a student of the Word.  Those who know him well will agree that TJ is wise beyond his years.  He resides in the beautiful Montgomery, Alabama, and eventually plans to relocate to California to be a full-time musician for Bishop Blake at the West Angeles COGIC... even though he's not COGIC. LOL!

Great job, Teej. I'm so proud of you. In fact, I'm having a hard time believing you had any trouble at all in your Public Speaking class!  :D :D :D

The word was piercing and convicting. I pray that it penetrates my heart and that of everyone else who heard it, and that it takes root and produces fruit.

The discussion was also really great! WONDERFUL input from Nessa and NJ on the call, and SJonathan, Churchyreal, VTGuy, Under13 in the chat... I think there was someone else, but I can't remember... lol.

I was just thinking, TJ was saying how prayer is not a performance.  Just wonder would musicians playing while prayer is going on kind make it a performance?  When the prayer gets louder and more dramatic so does the music and so does the congregation.  Same for when it gets louder.  I'm not saying that musicians shouldn't accompany prayer with music, but sometimes I feel like people get loud with their prayers just to wind people up and musicians tend to aid in that.
