LA-PREACHIN'-NEW TESTAMENT-Rue.... 1. I'm glad you taught about riding through the storm and giving us the words your friend gave you... 2. I learned a lot.. Finally, LaRue, if you have not already found your ring, I would like to share this with you (and anyone else who has lost something)... Based on the scripture in 2 Kings 6:1-7 concerning the son of the prophets going to Jordan; one of them dropped his borrwoed axe in the river and he and Elisha said, "where did it fall?" ... i've done this TWICE.. I lost a Disney watch my BF (at the time) gave me.. it was soo special to me, lol.. i lost it and was desperately looking for it... i knew i last saw had it in my room, so i went outside, got me a little twig, threw it in my room and waited to hear from the Holy Ghost to tell me, "look here." I waited and He spoke... "look under your dresser." I looked, felt around and there it was! I found my disney princess watch!!! The second instance: I lost a ring my grandmother left for me... you can imagine how important THAT was... that was priceless... i did not know WHERE i last had it, seen it, wore it... i just knew it was not on my pinky...threw another twig... and i found it...
So, I'll be waiting to hear your testimony is you have not found your ring!
"And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. 2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye. 3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. 4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. 5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed. 6 And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he showed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. 7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it."
sorry for the length
