oh ok.....i was just wondering.dimdim.com + ustream.tv is a better combination.
Man, I'm havin innanet issues. I'll try to get it together by tonight. My air card is on probation, because of my overage problems, so I can't use it until the next bill cycle. I'll probably go to my office to be there.
Well yeah I'm definitely not hip at all, but we didn't go with ustream for more practical reasons: not everyone agreed to (or was/is equipped to) do this via videochat.
Or we could just cancel...
Dimdim will allow you to have people call into the conference via phone, and record it. If you normally have less than 20 people, this would be good, since it's free.
My spirit is telling me that tonight's text will have a '12' included in it somewhere.
No. *Insert straight-face smiley here*... or I'll just BBIM it to you, lol.
We already call into the conference via phone and record it. And it's free. What's the difference with Dimdim?
It's video as well. NM then, if everything works fine. I was just throwing that out there.
We can't do video if the facilitator doesn't agree to use a webcam or if s/he doesn't have one... I was willing to set it up by video (I think we discussed that back around page 3-4), but personally, I wouldn't use a webcam myself when it's my turn to facilitate. I prefer being able to facilitate with my hair a mess, mask on my face, wearing a t-shirt with holes and shorts.
Why can't up you do that on camera? Do you care what I think? The future is video, people! I've seen it. I was in Korea for 8 years! Get with the program. Bah @ audio phone conversations/meetings
yes. indeed i do.
Yeah if the facilitator has a webcam and is willing to use it... it sure would be nice. Why is it that the folks recommending the webcam are the folks who haven't facilitated a study?
