Have you heard DW lately?

Is it just me or has he turned the awesome knob up a bit?

Yeah, he played for a church on LI for about a year, but I havent seen him lately. But every time he would be there, the band would just go in.

And last weekend I saw him on VH1, playin for Chrisette Michelle. I think he's also played for John Legend and Jill as well.

jeremy, i know ur a "bass face" advocate, but i know even you couldnt ignore the "guitar face" in the first video. lol!!


i think im just an odd bass player or something. the stuff that i didnt think he did much of anything: "ooohs and ahhhs" galore from the audience. the stuff i rewinded the video to catch again: total silence. weird.


in my opinion, i think his level can be partly attributed to the other musicians he gets to play with. i cant find nobody (church musicians) that can/wants to play music like this. theres no doubt he could never get to his level playing shout music 24/7.

He is very anointed, VERY!  I was there for the Meaghan Williams concert that JRoss captured.  He was allowed to solo in the middle of the concert and you couldn't help but just feel the presence of God in that place while he was ministering on the Bass.  With all that he's been through God just continues to blesss him and take him to higher heights in him.

Aww man i totally agree!!! thats his BEST youtube vdeo in my opinion..period!!! I mean everyone knows DW got serious chops and is crazy, but his anointing really shined through on this video....you cant FEEL it...

yeah,  he killed it. i was right, he probably did hurt somebody. lol. seriously, i wouldve put my bass down and started fanning that organ.

Last I saw DW was a couple weeks ago.

He plays for Chrisette Michelle now. He went the R&B route

Yeah, I saw him on VH1 playin for Chrisette, but he's been doing R&B for a least a few years, but he still does Gospel and has a group with his brother.

I saw him last night on BET playing for a Ryan Leslie concert.  Rick Watford(crazy guitar player) is playing as well.
