One of the ministries that I get tracts from generally have some cool stories.One was;a fellow is standing handing out tracts and hands one to a fellow,This fellow looks at it,crumples it up and throws it away in disgust;it hits somebody walking behind him in the face.This person picks it up,gets saved and begins his walk with JESUS.

Another story from a friend;fellow gets saved late in life(40's) and begins to stand outside a casino up north(NJ?) on the wknd handing out tracts.He does this for 10 years,NEVER sees ANY fruit.6 mos. before he dies,hands one to a fellow who is a local pastor-the question 'how long have you been doing this".Seems like this pastor had built a thriving ministry ;in a large part due to this bro's effort.Chance meeting?

Couple great resources for tracts with many languages  ; World Missionary Press(.org); Lifegate Ministries(.org) both in Indiana;Chik Publications,Evantel and Wothemaster/Living Waters.

World Missionary Press has most of their materials online,shipping a TON of stuff for me over the years to some of the work I'm involved with in Nigeria,Uganda,Kenya,Brazil,New Caledonia,Thailand,Russia,Ukaraine..They have been a great resource for my pastor friends;plus the material is available locally for downloads/reprints.

I figure it this way-throw enough spaghetti at the wall;gotta hit SOMETHING,maybe some will stick! Bill Hybell(?) from "Share JESUS without fear" made the comment;me-I'm not much,but I serve a GOD Bigggggg enough to use even little me to DO something good".

A guy did something similar while I was in NY a few weeks back but he just sang and asked for money. lol If God impressed you to do something like stated I see no problem. I think though you should be thoroughly equipped if you make that a habit. Because when people ask you questions you should have answers afterwards. I have no problem just handing out tracks or inviting someone to service.
