Indianapolis Colts 2-0 vs. Arizona Cardinals 1-1

Atlanta Falcons 2-0 vs. New England Patriots 1-1

I'm not a Niners fan, but their defense just might be good enough to hold off the Vikings. They won't stop Peterson, but they may be able to contain him.

The rest have a realistic shot of going 3-0.

I like the Vikings in their match-up.  Even if Peterson is contained, I don't think we've really seen how well Favre can use the rest of his tools yet.

Broncos over Raiders.  Don't know as much as I should about either team, but Broncos impressed me with what little I have seen.

Colts / Cardinals is the closest call from what I see.  Colts don't seem invincible anymore, especially on D and the Cards can light it up.  But there's still that Peyton Manning guy.

I think Atlanta is catching the Patriots at just the right time.  The Pats SHOULD be 0-2.  They barely escaped the Buffalo game.  That was as much Buffalo's bumbling as it was NE's skill.  ATL is solid on both sides of the ball.

...yeah, I think we finally get to see how good Minnesota's "air attack" really is or isn't with their new addition.

...I'm actually picking Arizona over the Colts.  ;D

I agree.

Bold pick.

...the thing with the Vike's is that the Sylver Fox and his WR's need some work on their timing/chemistry.  They need a few more games under their belt.  As soon as the missing pieces to the puzzle get connected they will be a nightmare for defenses imho.

...the Cards are going to take it to Manning.  Sorry Colts fans but it is what it is. lol

What about the other "0"s?  Will any of the win-less wonders break out this week?

Dolphins play the Chargers:  Dolphins go 0-3
Browns play Baltimore: I think the Browns have a shot here.  I'll go out on a limb and call the upset.  Browns go 1-2
Titans play the Jets: Titans go 0-3
Jaguars play Texans:  I'm clueless on both teams, so I'll wuss out and call it status quo.  Jaguars go 0-3
Chiefs play Eagles: Chiefs steal this one and go 1-2
Lions play Redskins: Do I have to?  Lions go 0-3
Bucs play Giants: Almost as clean a lock as the Lions / Redskins. Bucs go 0-3
Panthers play Cowboys: Since I'm still talking about locks.....LOCK!  Panthers go 0-3
Rams play Packers: It's all on Rodgers.  What kinda day will he have?  Rams go 0-3

So I guess I only see the Browns and the Chiefs breaking out this week.

...you know, I have some friends that are actually picking the Panthers to upset Dallas. lol  I highly doubt it.

...judging from the previous Green Bay game, Aaron did his part.  The receivers took the day off. lol

I like the fact that you put "NFL" in the title so that those of us who aren't interested in sports wouldn't mistakenly click on the thread to see what it was about, only to be disappointed once inside the thread.  ;D

I really don't think so.  Baltimore is looking good to me.

I pretty much agree with the 0fers analysis with the exception of the Lions; they might shock ya'll.

...you know, I actually agree with you now.  I didn't even notice who the Lions were playing.  The Lions may actually come out on top.  They didn't look as bad as last year when they played the Vikings this past Sunday.

I know Baltimore is looking good.  I'm factoring in the whole "Browns moving to Baltimore in the still of the night" thing that seems to motivate the Browns when they play B-More.

If it was anybody BUT Washington I might agree with you.  The Lions really could have beaten Minnesota if Stafford had not overthrown his receiver late in the 4th.  Thing is, the Lions have this long standing mental block when it comes to the 'Skins.  I usually don't buy into these kinda things, especially when both rosters have turned over as much as they have, but the records here are crazy.  I think Billy Kilmer may have been in diapers the last time the Lions beat the 'Skins.  The only chance I think the Lions really have is if the 'Skins offense REALLY gets stalled.

I agree with you man.  I don't think the Lions win 3 games this year, and I don't think they win this week.

Seeing as they haven't won a regular season game since '07, they have to be considered the underdog until they win.  Their defense is the Path of Least Resistance, and they have a rookie QB.

I'm not going to step out on the limb and say the 49ers (my team) will shut down AP but if any team can stop him...it's the 9ers.

AP has played the 49ers only once in his career and guess what...statistically, it was his worst game ever in the league.  He had 14 carries with only 3yds
