My suggestion would be to put more of your "voice" behind your notes and watch which scales you're running and when.

If your going from the 1 to the 6  start your run in the minor scale of the 6 and vice versa.

IF you're going to a major interval start your run in that notes major pentatonic scale.

Other than that sounded good doc.!
Somebody put me in the key of E#

I think that's a great idea. I remember when you used to lay down our interpretations to tracks a few years back. I wouldn't mind doing that again as well.

Great video.  I've learned a lot from your posting Arthur, and from the many comments which followed. Thank you for sharing and being so humbled as to willingly and openly subject yourself to constructive criticism.

Thanks too to the fam who shared their honest critique.

Not only is Arthur's playing and note choice a tad beyond my range right now, but some of what is being discussed is a bit above my head at this current moment.  This is great for me because seems things just above my head are what push me to improve.

I think monthly interpretations would be so helpful and inspirational.

Just my vote.

Very good.  My main critique is pay attention to your timing on your runs/fills.  One dificult thing about playing bass is not to speed up when the intensity builds.

The interesting thing is your playing would fit well over the Paul S. Morton version of his song.
