But if you are trying to get together around 9/10ish, the traffic, in the DC/VA direction should not be TOO bad... the traffic going in you alls direction is bad, ALL DAY.  ;) <--- would you consider this a thought i should have kept? I'm seriously trying to get better; so please, sit in prayer with me saints, better yet, Sjon.

Disagreed. Most times, it sucks BIG TIME. Sometimes, it depends on the day.

My mother lives in Spotsylvania, Va. and I've travelled to visit her enough to know.  ::) :-\


And yes, myvir2, very much better (int). :)

It really depends on time of day. Saturday usually isn't that bad. I have customers that cross over the bridge on Saturday afternoons all the time, no complaints about traffic unless there is an event or something like that. Now that summer vacation is over, there won't be as many tour buses and student groups going into DC.

But seriously, all it takes is one accident and traffic is bad anywhere.

Traffic out east to MD can be nasty too, especially on weekends when people are heading to the eastern shore.

 :D :D :D :D And yes, I'm serious. The biggest problem when I visit though is I wanna try the Sonic near their house but my mother feeds us when we visit so I'm too full when I leave.  >:( :D

OMG... if you ever DO make it to Sonic, please get a bacon, egg, and cheese wrap! I have never had a bacon/egg/cheese sandwich at a fast-food restaurant that actually had fresh, crispy bacon!!! I mean, you'd think it'd get soggy with all the cheese and egg, but it is SOOOOOOO good!!! OMG *sigh* I want one RIGHT. NOW!!!!!!  Oh, and it's not for a hungry moment, but it'll be good for the times you're already full, but want a lil snacky snack! LOL

Oh and yeah, Spotsylvania's pretty dead... lol.

Spotsy is closer to Richmond than DC. 95 heading south seems to always be backed up nowadays, especially on weekends.

But yeah, traffic around here stinks.

Interesting. I find Spotsy to be equidistant to both of them. But, maybe that's just my lead foot.  :D

How in the world did Spotsylvania make it into the convo?  :D For the record, it's almost exactly directly between DC and Richmond (That's if you're in Fredericksburg).

I think we should do it at Virginia Beach. That's about an equidistance between NY and AL (the two furthest points).
