I really need a ladies' thread to pose this. But I'll do my best with what I got.
Do you ladies find that your eating trends vary with the monthly calendar? If that wasn't clear, I give up and won't ask the question.
Definitely. UNQUESTIONABLY.
But for me, it may be a bit different. The week leading up, I'm a hog. I just want any and everything sweet and bready.

Cakes, cookies, donuts, pastries, croissants, bagels, muffins, rolls... That's all I want.
Then, the week of, I barely have an appetite at all. First three days, I may eat 1 meal a day, if that. I'm also craving chocolate big time. After that, it's back to normal.
And I know this isn't part of the question, but since we're on the subject - I simply cannot control my emotions that week at all. I'm just a sack of tears and yelling and depression and moodiness and pity and insecurity - usually eased slightly by chocolate and wine (sorry, I know how you feel about that).
