Meanwhile I couldn't button my suit pants this morning, so I had to change clothes at the last minute.

Idk what is going on with me but I'm concerned. Its not the weight gain that bugs me, its the fact that I seem to have no control over it and am not doing anything differently.

I lost another 5 lbs. That brings the total to about 20 so far. Not bad for 4 months! :D

Gooooo  T!!!!

You're losing more slowly, but you're noticing it a lot in your clothes, that's the part I'm not getting yet, lol.

Yeah, my goal is to slim slow, lol. I went to try on one of my older shirts that got too big for me, and I was able to wear it comfortably. I just gave God a shout right then.

That's it right there.  The Biggest Loser is great for motivation, but losing 10lbs in a week is not healthy.  It isn't all fat.  To lose weight at that pace puts stress on your body and means you're also losing muscle.

Slow, steady weight loss is the way to go.

Loving my strength gains recently.

FINALLY got my bench to 200lbs.  Took me long enough.  It's been lagging behind all my other major lifts.

My highest bench weight (back in high school) was 235. And I hit that after a week of not even lifting. Man, I wanna be able to hit that again one day.

Great workout this morning.  Bi/Tri superset & leg workout.  Turkey Bacon, egg whites & cheese on whole wheat roll for breakfast.  Feeling good.   8)

Keep posting that stuff, man.  It actually motivates me...Granted, I have yet to consistently exercise, but each post I see from you guys reminds me of what I'm not doing that I said that I would do.

I haven't really been keeping track of when I started, but it's been about 2 weeks or so since I've had fast food.  I carry my trail mix with me and it keeps me until I get home.

It's up to you man!

This morning I was laying in bed @ 5am contemplating whether I should go to the gym or not and just decided to get up and do it.  There are going to be a lot of those moments.  A lot of those decisions.  You're hungry and you have a choice of Subway or McDonald's.  Salad or Pizza.  Soda or water.  Candy or veggies.  You're super tired and you have a choice to workout or not.  It's ok to choose the 'wrong' option once in a blue, but how often you choose the 'right' option determines your success!  It's the difference between the Arnolds of the world and the...well...NOT Arnolds.   :D

Anyway, I got to the gym a few min after 6, had a killer workout, got home at about a quarter to eight and I feel amazing.  Like I can take on the day.

Speaking of skin....

I'm really sensitive about my skin issues, so I don't talk about it (openly) very often. Actually, I don't think I talk about it at all. LOL. But anyway, one of my THT goals was to work on clearing my skin up. I've had acne - really bad acne - since I was about 12. I've pretty much tried everything OTC, a zillion prescriptions, visits to big time specialists, and all the "home remedies" and tips from random strangers who are well-meaning but really annoying. :D

Anyway, in March, I started using the black soap that U13 mentioned on PHB's thread about men's skin care. I decided at that point to try God's way, by abandoning EVERYTHING in my cabinet that wasn't made naturally. I decided to use only "God's stuff" which included black soap to clean, witch hazel to tone, and 100% raw, unrefined shea butter to moisturize (hard to get used to). I also found a great recipe for an all-natural mask, made from natural ingredients purchased at the grocery store. I'm drinking a lot more water, and working on my digestive system so I don't have all these toxins in my body all the time.

God's way is a lot slower :D, but it's working. I think this is pretty much the first time in my life that I've seen this kind of progress. My skin is about 75% clearer than it was when I started, and now I only get occasional bumps around that time of the month (sorry guys... lol). My next goal is to work on the hyperpigmentation (dark spots/acne scarring) so my skin can appear as clear as it's actually becoming. :)

OAN, I really don't know what's going on with my weight, but this morning I went to put on a belt and I had to use the last hole (and had to hold in my stomach to do that!). I'm guessing it's what happens when you get older and your metabolism slows down. Idk. :(

Spiritually - DOING GREAT!!! So excited to be having prayer and Bible discussions with my GKC sisters. It has really been a blessing to me.
