Speaking of skin....
I'm really sensitive about my skin issues, so I don't talk about it (openly) very often. Actually, I don't think I talk about it at all. LOL. But anyway, one of my THT goals was to work on clearing my skin up. I've had acne - really bad acne - since I was about 12. I've pretty much tried everything OTC, a zillion prescriptions, visits to big time specialists, and all the "home remedies" and tips from random strangers who are well-meaning but really annoying.

Anyway, in March, I started using the black soap that U13 mentioned on PHB's thread about men's skin care. I decided at that point to try God's way, by abandoning EVERYTHING in my cabinet that wasn't made naturally. I decided to use only "God's stuff" which included black soap to clean, witch hazel to tone, and 100% raw, unrefined shea butter to moisturize (hard to get used to). I also found a great recipe for an all-natural mask, made from natural ingredients purchased at the grocery store. I'm drinking a lot more water, and working on my digestive system so I don't have all these toxins in my body all the time.
God's way is a lot slower

, but it's working. I think this is pretty much the first time in my life that I've seen this kind of progress. My skin is about 75% clearer than it was when I started, and now I only get occasional bumps around that time of the month (sorry guys... lol). My next goal is to work on the hyperpigmentation (dark spots/acne scarring) so my skin can appear as clear as it's actually becoming.

OAN, I really don't know what's going on with my weight, but this morning I went to put on a belt and I had to use the last hole (and had to hold in my stomach to do that!). I'm guessing it's what happens when you get older and your metabolism slows down. Idk.

Spiritually - DOING GREAT!!! So excited to be having prayer and Bible discussions with my GKC sisters. It has really been a blessing to me.
