Great!  Keep up the good work!

I've got one of those home gyms, and it gives me a great workout when I use it.  Haven't used it in a while.  It's hard to have a workout partner because the reps take so long.  I've decided to buy a weight set from a customer.  I'm getting an awesome deal on the bench, bars and about 300 lbs of weight..  The best part is that I can work out with my boys.

I got me a little weight set as well. I just need more weights and a longer bar.

So I joined a gym on Friday. I went on Saturday and on tonight why do church folks always say "on tonight" lol.

I plan on going at least 5 days a week. So far I'm enjoying the gym much more than walking around the track or riding my bike.

Yea, walking is a great way to start but if you want to take your fitness to the next level you need a gym membership (or a home gym), so good going.

I hurt my back last week so I had to take some time off.  Just returned to the gym yesterday and had a decent mini workout.

When I hurt my back a few years ago doing crunches (apparently INcorrectly), it was the most traumatizing physical event of my life (which is saying a lot since I've had quite a few physical traumas. LOL). I thought I was paralyzed. To this day, I cannot do crunches. I'm terrified.



Uh yeah, so anyway.... I'm still walking a lot. Determined to manage my weight before it starts to manage me. I've unwittingly gained quite a few pounds without doing anything differently, so I'm going to work on that.

Also watching my sodium, sugar, and caffeine intake. Taking my probiotics (lovvvving it). Drinking water more than anything else. Skin is improving nicely (but sooooo slowly). Really wishing I had a work-out buddy. I need to do some stretching and aerobics to stay in shape as I enter my golden years. :D

IDK. lol.  I might get some pizza, I dont think that has more than 300 calories.

And my right foot is killing me. I'm gonna see the trainer on Friday so I'll ask if I'm walking on the treadmill wrong or something. I'll try the elliptical and the bike until then. I'm using new balance running shoes, so i dont think that's the problem, because this never happened before.

You could try buying some of those gel insoles from the store. I bought some for my shoes and my feet hardly ever hurt now.

I ended up resting on wednesday and thursday... I saw the trainer today, and he pointed me in the right direction. Now I gotta get some nutrition advice. @Cordney lol
