So I've had my Jack Lalanne juicer for almost a week, and I've used it every day.  Every drink has been a hit except this morning, lol.  I bought the juicer because I found out that beet juice works wonders for blood pressure.  I started out ordering beet juice on amazon, but for the cost of a few shipments I realized I could buy a juicer and fresh beets for way cheaper.  I also was pleasantly surprised to find out that the fresh beet juice (with a couple of apples and mint) tastes way better.  I actually love it. 

So anyway, I usually make my beet cocktail in the morning and one more veggie/fruit drink that I take to work with me and drink later in the day.  All of them have been really good with just a few minor things I discovered, like the taste of cucumber is pretty strong and overpowering, but it's still pretty good with oranges or apples.   

This morning, I tried to spice up my beet drink.  One of my friends told me it's really good with a carrot in it, so I threw in a carrot which probably wouldn't have been bad, but then, I also love the taste of ginger in my water, and I thought it would add a little flavor to my drink.  It probably would've been okay, but I think I put a little too much.  That joint was skrong! :D  I drank it down, though, after I added a lemon to try and doctor it up.  After I got into drinking it, it wasn't bad, just the ginger is a really powerful tasting root.  I'll need to tone it down a lot next time, lol.

Went on a 5 day binge and didnt work out and gained like 4 pounds. Went back to the gym last night, and I'm back to eating my oatmeal, so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things.

I'm feeling bout 30lbs lighter, literally. Maybe there is something to this exercise and eating right! :D

That's awesome, man!  I'm starting to get back into the swing of things.  Haven't gotten back to exercising yet.  But, I will.

To this day, I avoid most exercise because I was traumatized (like seriously traumatized) when I pulled something in my back doing sit-ups/crunches incorrectly. I am TERRIFIED of doing that again. I truly thought I was paralyzed. SMH.

There are few injuries worse than a back injury.  If you hurt your arm you can use the other one.  If you hurt your leg you can favor it or use crutches.  If you hurt your back it affects EVER.  THING.  YOU.  DO.  Every single movement hurts.

I don't think this one is as bad as my last back injury, but I won't know until tomorrow morning.  Fortunately I work from home tomorrow and Friday so I can rest.   8)

:( dang man my wife ordered for me at a restaurant and got me a lemonade wasn't thinking at all :( I drank like half of it  :(  my wife gets me caught up too much man and its always when i'm not paying attention. This is like only the second time this month she ever offered me anything to drink. I mean she doesn't even offer me a drink in the house when she goes to get something. And ever time I fall for it just like adam :(
