I shopped at Whole Foods last week, all fresh produce pretty much. I had sticker shock at the register, lol. But I haven't even used my debit card in three days (until today when I realized I had no protein and bought a couple of Chobani's), which is unusual for me, because I packed all of my food. So yeah, I'm actually saving money. Some of the stuff I bought at Whole Foods I know I can get at Trader Joe's a little cheaper, so I need to strategize a bit more.
I gotta say, I love the upscale shopping experience. Whole Foods and the higher end grocery stores like Raley's are just a much better experience than like Wal-Mart and WinCo. But you pay for it, lol.
The other thing I don't like, is buying all this fresh stuff means I gotta go back to the store more often. I hate the store, so I'm not really feeling that, but like I said, the experience overall is better.
