About to gain back my 6 lbs. Fast is over and we're about to have a huge break-fast dinner. Turkey, roast, fried chicken, macaroni & cheese, candies yams, cabbage, rice and peas, curry goat, broccoli cheese casserole, potato salad and dressing. Yea Lawd.

Wait, whut? :-\

I need to get to my mother's house for my dad's oxtails or some curry goat

Brought my lunch today!  String beans, corn and a wing and a drumstick that I grilled on Saturday.  I'm going to buy some nuts to help curb hunger later in the day.

OMG it was so good. Lord have mercy. I haven't stepped on the scale, but I will tomorrow morning and see what the damage is. :D

So I tried to quit soda, but I ended up having 4 last week, however I got on the scale this morning and I'm at the lowest I've ever been. I hope to be in the 250's by next week.

So I tried to quit soda, but I ended up having 4 last week, however I got on the scale this morning and I'm at the lowest I've ever been. I hope to be in the 250's by next week.

Maybe you could reward yourself by allowing yourself one or two sodas each week? Sometimes, quitting cold turkey can work against you. I remember that happened to me when I tried to quit eating Swedish Fish. I ended up buying a 5 lb bag and eating it in 2 days. Then I bought another one. Then, my new "habit" became buying 5 lb bags of swedish fish. :-[

All because I tried to quit eating them altogether.

Now, I allow myself to eat them, but no more than one individual size package per week. Since it's not a "no-no" I find myself not even wanting them as much anymore. I can go weeks without eating them now.

Since it's summer, and my work schedule is more flexible, I think I I'm gonna start doing Taebo lol. I kinda want the Insanity though.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna allow myself to have it 2 times a week.  I was down to 1 a day (from 3 +), but then I ended up going back up to 2 a day and eating a bunch of fast food.

On an unhealthy note, I went to "Dallas BBQ" yesterday. Best. Wings. Ever. I'f you're in NY you gotta go.

My new place (YES!!!) has a filter installed on the fridge dispenser so once I move, I won't have to buy water at home any more.  The brand I like the most was starting to get really costly, so I was drinking less...

Tap water in NY is very good. I've heard the same is true of certain parts of California. Georgia tap is gross.

Did you go to the one in Times Square?  The one in Brooklyn? 

Their Sticky Wings (fried and covered in honey)....those things are amazing.

I had to stop going there.  I love their food but the portion sizes are ridiculous.  The last time I went I had a burger and fries and the burger was SO..BIG....I ate half and had the other half the next day for lunch.

Amid all this talk of wings and food, I have good news to report: I'm down 5 lbs since my last bi-weekly weigh-in.  This week, I've really been trying- eating salads for lunch and such.  I did have fast food once, but I had it medium-sized, not large.  And, I had water with the meal instead of the iced tea I'd normally get.
