To answer the question, yes.  A potential suitor gave me a glass wine carafe for a Christmas present and I'm not much of a wine drinker.   I was hoping for something more intimate like jewelry or perfume.  Well, dude never made it to suitor stage and one of the reasons is he doesn't put much thought into gift giving.

Now onto the underwear....it's not that I don't understand the concept behind it all, it's just that practically speaking (and this is where we may part ways here  ), it doesn't make sense to buy matching bras & panties just because some paramedic or ER doc might deem me "odd", "unusual" or "untouchable" because they don't match.    The cutsie bras that come with these bra/panty sets are usually VERY impractical for me.

Now if I were a married woman, it might matter then.  I don't whether that stuff would stay on long enough for him to notice what color it was once he realizes what's underneath it all!! 

Uh, you appear to have that backwards. At the 'potential suitor' level, gifts are definitely not in the intimate realm.

Jewelry; at the 'potential' level?  Negative.


Now, to me, perfume isn't that intimate so I'd have no problem buying that @ the 'potential' level.


Uh, they have 'cutsie' bra/panty sets in ALL sizes.

I doubt that was her point. It's not the sizes, it's the matching part. It's hard to find a nice pair of panties that have a matching bra that does what that particular woman needs it to do. Some women need more support or more padding, or a wider back strap, or smooth lines or full coverage, etc... and the bra to match the panties don't have that particular thing she needs. You know how there are SO many different types of bras? Well, the one she needs may not have the panty to match it. That's what I'm trying to say...

A cute pair of earrings when I refer to jewelry; not diamonds or expensive gold....something "girly".
