I haven't exhorted the congregation , but I have had my brain shut down during testimony service. THEE worst thing ever!!!

Have you ever had your drink to go down the "wrong pipe" in front of people?

OMG that made me crack up!!!! LOL!!! Yes, it just happened to me yesterday. It's been happening a lot now that I'm drinking water all day. 


Have you ever lovvvved something (i.e. flip-flops) and hooked up with someone who hated it, so you wonder if maybe s/he's not the will of the Lord concerning you?

OMG you ever eavesdrop on someone's conversation???    Dude, I was JUST talking to LL about that last night! LOL!!!  Yes, it has happened to me several times.  Fortunately, I have that "churchy reserve" from which I can draw -- but I hate doing that...


Have you ever needed a time-sensitive answer from the Lord, but not received it in the time you needed it? (i.e. you have to teach a Bible Study and the Lord ain't telling you what to teach? LOL)

It's in the atmosphere. And, I hear you about not wanting to go to the 'churchy reserve'.


And, you've still got time (and by you, I mean the Lord ). Bible study's not until dis here evenin'.

God has gone over my deadline, but he's never been late, and he's never FAILED, I tried to study to teach Bible Study at my church last night and was very busy so couldn't focus like I wanted to.  It didn't really come together until I opened my mouth to start the class.  Glory to God.  He's good AND he's faithful! ( I think I can answer yes to sjon's question now).

Have you ever been leading prayer or publicly speaking and had a coughing fit so bad that you couldn't regain your composure for several minutes?  I always wonder how news anchors keep it together almost ALL the time with no really distracting incidents.

Yes!  So I went to 7-11 to buy some but it was a cheap kind.  It was very fresh smelling and was good all day, but then I had a service that night, right after work and had to play the drums.  It was hot as East Hell that night, I got off the drums and went back to the store and bought materials to wash up AND my regular brand of deodorant... SMH, what a night...

I just went upstairs to pick up a company car, and the chick told me it was parked on the 4th floor.  So being the stickler for details that I am, I instinctively replied, "on P4?" (P is the parking levels). She said, "no, it's on the 4th floor of the building, next to the break room."

Smart aleck.

Then I asked her what color it is, while simultaneously looking at the keyring to see if it was on there.  It was. So I said, "oh ok, it's black. Cool, thanks." And she made a face as if to say, "duhhhh... next time, try reading before you ask questions."

I wanted to strangle her watching her go from pink to red to blue to unconscious!!! LOL!
