Yes. From a distance when I was driving from OKC to Tulsa. The lightning traveled horizontally in the clouds for a while and then about 5 or 6 spikes came down all at the same time in different places. Yes, I've driven through two blizzards (and walked two miles through one also)... the Blizzard of 93 and the other big one, 95? Can't remember the year, but both made history. Right after I moved to Alabama, a friend and I were driving back to Birmingham from church in Selma, when my pastor called to tell us that a funnel cloud had been spotted in Calera. Well, we were like 2 minutes from Calera and had to pass it to get to Birmingham.
