Yeah, when my nephew lived with me.  I guess this is every day for parents, but the day he actually came and after my sis left for the ship, the weight of that responsibility was near crushing.

While he was here, one time I let him go play with a little friend and he didn't check in on time.  Searched the apartment complex frantically in tears, only to find he went in this kid's house to play video games.  After that, he didn't have much freedom when it came to leaving my direct supervision, and I wondered if that was just as bad for him, but I oculdn't risk it.  Just couldn't. Don't know how parents don't go crazy with worry.

Yes.  My son's mother makes them pretty good.  I tried to do it myself once and almost hurled from the first bite.  I tossed the whole batch in the trash.  I won;t be doing that again.

Did it all the time with my cell phone when I was on the road.  Got pictures of the St. Louis Arch, and a few other landmarks.  Even took a pic at midnight on my way to Oklahoma.  No reason, just did it.

(I'm gonna answer my own question here, but please still answer.  My sister used to work for the Ebony Fashion Fair Fashion Show and when it came to town she had one of the male models and a couple of other staffers come to my folks' house for dinner.  Well one of the females was tall and dressed down in a t-shirt and sweats with no makeup and her hair pulled back I thought she was just another person in charge of the wardrobe like my sister and her friend was.  She was very friendly and as I talked to her I looked at her real good only to realize she was their finest and most popular model who was always in Jet and Ebony magazine whenever they talked about the show. 

She went on to become the commentator for several years.  I got her number before she left town, and I may have called her just once.  I was young and lacking in my game at that time so I didn't have much convo with a woman of her caliber.  Oh, also happened when I met Isreal Haughton.)
