Happened to us about 5 yrs ago.  The guys from Animal Cops - Detroit showed up, cameras rolling 'cause somebody reported we were mistreating our German Sheperd.  They were walking around the perimeter of the house looking for an abused dog.  Didn't find anything because Thurman was inside, so they came to the door, cameras rolling. 

My wife answered.  She goes "You mean this dog here?"  They looked at the well groomed, old, but happy dog and went "Our mistake".  Thurman was 11 and had developed a spinal cord problem. Somebody probably saw him in the yard walking funny and assumed we were beating him.  She showed them the pills we were giving him to manage the pain and the receipt from the vet.  They couldn't apologize enough as they headed back to their vehicles.

Yes. I laughed at this man who had both of his legs amputated... He was arguing at the bank with the lady about an over draft that was HIS fault... I just felt bad cause he really didnt have a LEG to STAND on.

Yes.  While I was stationed in San Antonio, we did a performance in Houston which was an overnight stay.  Me and a coworker went to a DCI Band competition at Rice Univ. and ended up having to walk back and figure our way out to the hotel.  Well we are walking down this long dark street and we see these two OLD ladies looking in their trunk.  I immediately noticed that the car in the front (there were two) had a flat tire.  Taking in account that they were old and white, it was a dark street, and we were two "sizable" black men, I lifted both my hands from a distance and yelled "Do you all need some help?"  .  They just looked.  I was like, come on man lets go help them.  They didnt know how to get the spare out (or fix the tire anyway).  I had to pull the car off the dirt, and do everything myself (my friend didnt know either lol).  I got dirty, and in the process, tore a big hole the crotch of my khakis kneeling, but I was glad to help because aint no telling what might have happened or how long they would have been there (no one came down that street the whole time we were there).
Get THIS.  Thing is, the old lady said, "You know what?  I wont ever doubt God again.  I was just coming from the Woman Thou Art Loosed conference, and earlier this black lady said God always knows what you need.  We've been here for atleast 45 min. trying and I finally thought about that lady.  I said God you know what we need, and I just need some help.  Thats when you two walked up".  I was so overwhelmed, I didnt even take the money she tried to give us.  The other lady with her was a cab driver, and ended up taking us to our hotel for no charge (which was a blessing cause we were kinda lost LOL).
