Can anyone give any help on playing Al Green's Gospel songs: Rock of Ages and People get ready and Jesus is waiting? These songs are all on Youtube. Thank You.

Thanks for posting those links! Here's chords/lyrics for Curtis Mayfield's version. It's in D rather than in Eb like the Al Green clip, but, well...

People Get Ready
Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions, 1965

Intro: ||  D   Bm7  | G   D  ||

   D                Bm7                   G/A     D
1.People get ready, There's a train a comin'
        D                   Bm7                      G/A     D
You don't need no baggage, you just get on board
D                     Bm7                     G/A      D
All you need is faith, To hear the diesels hummin'
        F#m7             Em7                G             D     ||  D   Bm7  | G   D  ||
You don't need no ticket, you just thank the Lord.

2.So people get ready, for the train to jordan
Picking up passengers, coast to coast
Faith is the key, open the doors and board them
There's hope for all, among those loved the most

3.There ain't no room, for the hopeless sinner
Who would hurt all mankind, just to save his own
Have pity on those whose chances grow thinner
For there?s no hiding place, against the kingdom's throne.

(Verse 1 again)
