Anybody have one or played one? I just joined some old band members and was looking for a used board under 600 for shows, any feed back will help. I also saw a roland D, but since I have a Fantom I wanted a different brand.

What are some other boards that would be good if I find one in my price range.

Forgot to mention this one is 399.00 used, so would it be considered a good deal?

sounds like a good deal to me, as long as it has good piano sounds, which a lot of korgs dont.

If you like it, buy it

Wouldn't mine if they had one, I might just wait it out and see what else comes in.

I was thinking of getting one for a top board. My bottom board is a korg TR-88. Supposedly they have the same sound engine. However, I got tricked like that with the yamaha mm6 which was supposed to sound just like a motif but it wasnt even close.

I have an X50 and I absolutely love it. Thing is, if you're going to use it for church purposes, you may want to tweak it with the editor it comes with to fit what style of music you're playing. I will say this, be very careful because the plug that goes into it is very flimsy.

how about the keys itself,I played one last week-some great sounds-but had a few stuck keys/jammed(guitar center)   Some nice jazz drum arps(?) with the organ sounds-does the M seris load /play midi drum files like a Motif?

I was all set to order a korg x50 until I tried out a Roland Juno Di 61 key synth. Im sold on that. It has more than a few good piano and string sounds. I also like the built in vocoder. The organs are pretty good too but the cost (699.00 the same as the x50)is what got me.

Our choir once did a song with the Korg x50-- it looks small but it's packaged!
I liked the solid piano sound & the others as well, but maybe a later generation Korg would be better.
I doubt you can find a used JunoG/ D at that price range, but if you do, it's a better buy.

I did go with the M50 and this board is great. Korg even had 32 vintage keys you can download and load to the board.
