Appreciate you for that one Bro.  I was just thinking earlier in my lil practice time that I get, "Man I ain't getting nowhere fast."  I can hear the notes(relative pitch). I just can't get my fingers to act right for nothing. I wont even get started on slap but that post really encouraged me to take my eyes off of me and redirect them to the God of my Salvation.  Thanks a lot, God bless you and your family man.

I pray God give you the ability to reach higher heights in worship.

Yea I am sick but about a year ago I finally realized what I should have realized what I was there for when I started to play for church. I am not there to entertain or even play the bass. I am there because I can do this to worship GOD and I feel as if he wants me to. If I here playing/worshiping for HIM. Then it is not going to matter how far beyond average I play as long as I play with my heart for HIM.

I agree with everything said here. Some times we focus so much on what WE do and not on the purpose for doing what we do. We can have personal set backs in our playing. Those set backs can overtake us. If we seek first HIS kingdom, everything else will be added. I SO appreciate the fact that God entrusts me enough to allow me to help lead his people through worship!
