Maybe being in the pocket is just not Eddie's style. Why yall wanna put him in a box? Dude is playing for James Hall and other greats in the music ministry...so he must be doin somethin right.

Bro, as a drummer you need to have a pocket! Especially on a recording, you have to hold the ggroove together, and make the other musicians feel comfortable. Make people bob their heads, people can't groove to you doing fills and licks every bar.

yeah i actually got my hands on the recording a couple of weeks ago, and i mean i like Eddie and respect his craft, but he messed the song up to me, it was like he was shedding during the recording and especially on Never Shall Forget, and all over the vocal parts, just didn't really rub me right, but i guess to each his own....but idk, it was a recording and he was extremely busy for that type of setting....but again, to each his own, lol....
