I would say the best place to maybe look would be your local craiglist. I was lucky last year to buy one new in the box from guitar center for 1600.00

Bought one from American Musical Supply back in April for $1949, factory re-sealed. The great thing about this though is I was able to pay for it using their 5 Easy Payment option. So it was like $399 for 5 months. I just paid it off last month. They show up from time to time on their website still so keep your eyes peeled. www.americanmusicalsupply.com
