Are you one of the Black's associated with the Progressive Church if so I heard about you all in the early 90s when I attended there. The Black's were well know as musicians from what I was told. I remember one guy playing keys killing it and someone said he had only been playing about a year at the time.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

You said you're in Charlotte, NC?

Hit me up sometime so we can shed, I live in charlotte too.  I'd be suprised if we hadn't bumped into each other around town at some point!

No sorry not affiliated. My brother and nephews do play Keys as well as bass guitar.

OK absolutely. Probably have not bumped into each other yet because I just moved here from Raleigh NC.

Thanks Kelz for the comment. I'm sure your skillz are as good as mine if not better. The bass in that video is a Active Jazz Deluxe 5 by Squire. I took the Squire brand name off the head stock and repainted it. I love the feel of this bass. The sound is not that bad either.

Just curious... why?  Isn't the way you play (and you CAN play!) more important than the name on the headstock?

For me it was a matter of appearance. I didnt like the way the head stock look with the big squire lettering. Kind of look kindergarten. I figured I could make it look hotter. So I sanded it down and put a hot gloss on it.
