One thing you have to understand is that things can EASILY be misinterpreted, assumptionaized and just taken out of context because we can't see each other. This is why I always stress that we should try to express whatever we need to express as decent as possible without a lot of joking unless we HEAVILY emphasize that it's a joke. I'm guilty of taking things said on here the wrong way. It's easy to. That's why even though I text a lot I don't like arguing with people over text or saying too many serious things through text or online forums like this because (as the history of this site shows) things can be taken the wrong way EASILY!

I thought you and I discussed (BASICALLY-->) the same thing Betnitch said in another thread... the way you write/talk to people you dont know, are not familiar with comes across wrong... We cant 'hear' the tone in your voice... all we can go by is your words and how we read them... Because i dont know you, when you were spelling "MyVirture," "*pointing my finger now*" and "coming in looking serious*", I honestly thought you were being a smart mouth... and i did not like you or what you were saying... Imagine how other people feel.. they dont know you, never spoke to you... never dealt with your or your personality.... So.... IRT the small print, how about you give us a break and dont post threads like this and any future thread/post/comment that you may execute your "livelihood" (<-- as you said) in... THAT IS until you allow a relationship/friendship to blossom. |

I'm a serious person a lot of the time but as I begin to develop a good relationship with you I know how far I can go. That's how I've developed friendships with some of the people here on LGM but I had to start general before being totally myself and joking. This is not meant to get on you, just give advice on how easy it is to misinterpret what is said especially when one doesnt see emotions, know personality, etc. |
