Tonight I was just thinking about some things in my own life and then my mind shifted back to 1 John 4:7-21 and how it talks about love being God and about how can we love God who we have not seen and hate our brother/sister who we see daily. I honestly believe that we need more love in our society. Our society and many Christians are hurting and need to be loved inspite of their shortfallings.


So I just want to encourage my LGM family to let us walk in love. Let everything we do be about expressing the love of God from how we talk to one another to how we treat each other. Let everything we do be about expressing the love that Christ showed for us by dying on the cross.


Everyone is valuable in God's sight no matter how much money one has or they background. Let's view each other as a valuable link in the great chain!

This is true. Respect of persons is sin. Treat everyone equally with love. Telling folks off, ribbing someone because their not with the "in" crowd, snide and underhanded tactics...acquaintances and friends may think it's cute, but God isn't chuckling. A lot of folks have been doing this Christian thing long enough to know better.

It's a lesson many of us need to learn, and re-learn. Yes, even those of us on LGM. ESPECIALLY those of us on LGM, in some cases.

The thread was really just encouragement to the family and nothing more or less.

Thanks for the encouragement - we all need more love toward one another, and the love of God in our lives.

...lots of times I have been bothered by 'church' people who act snarky and sarcastic toward others...and have at times been guilty of the same behavior myself...
