congrats and welcome to the board!!! My experience with the cirrus has been this. It doesn't need a mid control at all. That millenium preamp is a bit overrated IMHO for that cirrus tone. I think for gospel/christian music it's tone as is is perfect! Play it out for at least 2 months before you think about upgrading it. You more than likely can do any mid adjustments you need on your amp.

Me personally, they need to make a 34" and with 19mm spacing. I'd be ALL over that joint!

Wow! That is an awesome deal! Especially for redwood. Weren't those considered an upgraded extra-cost finish?

Yeah, the guy had it on ebay and had a some pics of it but no pics of the whole bass. So I called him, since his number was posted in his auction, and asked for a pic of the entire bass. He sent it to me and it had a price tag saying, "Was $1899.99....Now $799.00." So I called him again and asked him if I could buy it at his store's asking price. So now it's on it's way here.

Wow, that is a sweet deal. I love the Cirrus basses (like Jeremyr, I would need a 34"). What types of wood is yours made from?

I believe it's an alder body, maple and purple heart neck, and a flamed redwood top. I'd post a pic but it's HUGE so I don't think it'll work on this forum. When i get it, however, I'll get some better ones.
