I Bought a Scunchi and Boy I was surprised
« on: November 10, 2009, 05:35:50 PM »

I I bought a schunchi to use on the neck of my bass when I'm playing quick riffs and slapping and popping.  I'm surprised how much of a difference it made on stopping the ringing on the B string.  For others that have used them tell me what you think...to me it seems to also add an appealing tone especially when s&p'ing...

I used to rock the scrunchie on my Bass, you are so correct... it does a great job of muting unwanted string noise. I took it off to replace strings and never put it back on.  That's been 2 years ago.   I haven't changed strings since then either... I think its about that time Smiley

2 Years? I'm guessing you don't like that new string sound?
