For those who don't get the schtick in this, he's known as the "Product Placement Preacher."  He gives you an inspirational message about the product.

I'm mad that that retarded mess got a laugh out of me.  On part 1 the last guy they had saying, "sliding" was funny.  The first girl saying "sliding" was funny.  How he went into the shout was funny.  The second one wasn't funny at all. 

My overall reaction is

Whoever made that costume must have thought about Al Sharpton and then looked at an old James Cleveland album cover. See the tinted glasses, the 3 piece suit and perm all rolled into one? lol.

You're probably right.  I can see that.

I like it. The second product wouldve been hard for anybody. Yay Roots!

The Roots are pretty much showing they probably started in church cuz they're right on point with the style.  Keyboardist James Poyser is known as "The Reverend" among his peers due to his playing being so churchified.  They all used to play with the Late Spanky Alford as they are all a part of the Soultronics collective.



I'm looking forward to more of Rev. Bivens' future presentations.
